The Assignment:

The AMK Media And Communication Intern provide mission critical business support for our customers, stakeholders and partners across a number of key touch points as part of The AMK Support Services Unit.

We have a wide range of possible touch points and areas that will be assigned based to your personality, study background and development goals. We put a strong focus on feedback, coaching and professional development.

Responsibilities can include but not limited to:

• Maintaining the online community;
• Write great content and blog posts;
• Setting up online marketing campaigns;
• Analyse online traffic and optimize web and social content;
• Writing daily offers and coupons and adding them to the site;
• Help with long-term growth of brands, products and services
• Manage social media platforms for AMK and our customers, stakeholders and partners.

Specific skill sets that will be required are:

• Ability to do video production and editing
• Ability to take stock quality images and do photo editing
• Ability to do social media content design and creation

Nice to haves:

• Understanding of SEO strategies and how to implement across social media and websites
• Understanding of how to use Google and Social Media Analytics to modify and improve social media strategies and drive increased traffic to websites and social media pages

Skills Required:

• Ability to communicate effectively using both oral and written means
• Ability to take instructions, seek clarification to ensure understanding and execution according to objectives given
• Ability to use initiative when appropriate
• Aptitude for learning new things quickly and executing tasks effectively
