“The Silicon Mountain Project is a technology ecosystem and cluster, situated within mountain area of Manchester Jamaica, with its epicentre in the parish capital of Mandeville. This Silicon Mountain technology ecosystem or cluster is currently home to tech start-ups and a growing community of developers, designers, business professionals, and supporting universities, colleges and many other learning institutions.
An eleven (11) member advisory board was formed to oversee, and provide governance and policy direction to the project. Board members are drawn from targeted representational groups and professional key skills and resource.
The Silicon Mountain Project is run and operated by battle tested entrepreneurs who have done it and still at it. They understand from first-hand experience the complexities of putting ideas into action and scaling them. They will be bringing to the table all their experience, know-how, insights and contacts to help entrepreneurs at all stages of their business development and entrepreneurial journey from idea to building the most successful business possible.
Each year, we hand pick early-stage entrepreneurs with an idea or company to join one of our mentorship-driven incubator or accelerator programme, investing and providing hands-on mentorship and access to The Silicon Mountain Project Network.
