The Silicon Mountain Project is run and operated by battle tested entrepreneurs who have done it and still at it. They understand from first-hand experience the complexities of putting ideas into action and scaling them. They will be bringing to the table all their experience, know-how, insights and contacts to help entrepreneurs at all stages of their business development and entrepreneurial journey from idea to building the most successful business possible.
Each year, we hand pick early-stage entrepreneurs with an idea or company to join one of our mentorship-driven incubator or accelerator programme, investing and providing hands-on mentorship and access to The Silicon Mountain Project Network.
So, no matter what phase of building your business you are in… The Silicon Mountain Project can support!
Mentors and resource personnel will come from retired company executives and individuals with workforce experience.
Our network will support entrepreneurs by providing accessibility to capital, mentoring, finding customers, hiring talent, choosing the right infrastructure and so on…
Entrepreneurs will also be exposed to Business and Social Etiquette and Personal development so as to build out a more rounded professional. Too often we see instances of entrepreneurs who do not know how to act at formal occasions, a meeting with other professionals and team members, or with some family members or friends.
As an Incubator, Accelerator and Innovation Hub, with a decided focus on next generation technology, it is expected that entrepreneurs and their business will exit the project contributing in the first instance to the central Jamaica region, expanding out into the wider Jamaica and Caribbean market spaces, leading and contributing to the growth of these economies.
The Big Picture and Why Mandeville? –
The Silicon Mountain Project:
- is setting out to secure and position Mandeville and itself as The Business Technology, Incubator, Accelerator and Innovation Hub of the Caribbean by 2030.
- with Mandeville Manchester at the centre, is seeking to serve Central Jamaica, covering the parishes of Clarendon, Manchester, St. Elizabeth and Westmoreland.
- is also seeking to position Mandeville Manchester as Jamaica’s first Smart City by 2030 and referenced as “Silicon Mountain – The Business Technology and Innovation Hub of the Caribbean”
- mission will be to significantly increase the number of successful entrepreneurs and emerging businesses in early and growth stages, technology driven and solving real world problems.

The Assignment
AMK’s Engineering Internship Program gives university students a chance to put their studies to practical use in an industry setting. Working under the guidance of a mentor, interns at AMK are embedded within a team and treated as part of the AMK family.
Interns are assigned to different projects with a scope that fits the duration of their internship, usually three to six months. Interns can work on a variety of projects relating to but not limited to our Payments Platform, Mobile Platform, Engineering architecture, UX Research and a host of other projects.
At the end of the internship, interns have the opportunity to present their project and findings to the broader engineering team.

The AMK Accounting & Finance Remote Internships allows interns to gain real-world experience through an online accounting or finance internship. Our online internships are custom built for students, graduates and young professionals seeking hands on career experience within real businesses.
This is a rare chance to gain accounting and finance experience with a fast-paced entrepreneurial inclined culture and environment, interfacing and operating within many industries. Interns are placed in remote accounting roles within the Group, learning new perspectives and assisting with a range of finance and accounting duties.
Interns will learn about the fiscal system to diversify experience, while building skills for remote working that will give their resume a dynamic and international edge.
DIGITAL MARKETING ACCOUNT EXECUTIVES – REMOTE

BlackSlate is searching for a few fearless and highly motivated Marketing Executives to join the fast-growing team at CLICK DIGITAL AGENCY.
If selected you will help create compelling experiences through thrilling brand campaigns for our clients. Ideally you should be gifted with expert stakeholder relations, great communication and high levels of proactivity and leadership. You will join a team of equally talented individuals who are comfortable devising and executing multichannel strategies, lead generating initiatives as well as displaying senior brand management skills.

Some Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support of client requirements
- Serves as the main point of contact between clients and the wider Click Team
- Conduct in-depth needs assessment to better understand each client’s requirements.
- Provide day-to-day supervision and execution of client requirements including but not limited to the various marketing channels
- Provide key insights, popular content topics, USPs,
- Working with the wider Click team to brief social media, creative, PR and external suppliers and teams to assist with the formulation of integrated campaign strategies and support in the execution thereof.
- Regularly checks in on clients to ensure they’re satisfied with the relevant campaigns/initiatives.
- Addresses any concerns or issues a client may have and working with the wider click team and management to resolve them.
- Collaborate with the campaign planning team to leverage digital advertising and organic/paid promotional activities where appropriate.
- Work with analytics and reports and oversee preparation of metrics, tracking and activity monthly, annual and ad hoc reports as based on client reporting needs.
- Understanding of the marketing channels, digital capabilities and technology trends.

- Support the running of a productive and vibrant team and department
- Support teams to create and execute strategic marketing and sales campaigns
- Post-campaign evaluation to ensure success and that client’s needs are met and they are satisfied.
